Floating Viral Fortress of Death

OK, perhaps that’s an extreme description. But after two weeks of valiantly fighting off the germs onboard, I have succumbed to the cold virus. (hack, sniffle, cough). Greg seems to be on the mend & Natalie hasn’t had her turn yet (maybe she’ll be lucky?). I’m going back to bed now.

The snow didn’t hit nearly as hard as they threatened, although there’s still supposed to be some this afternoon. There’s about 1/2 inch of slush which will likely turn to a sheet of ice for tomorrow morning. Nothing we can’t handle though.

In the interest of throwing in a photo for the day, here’s a couple of the huge container ship which passed us in the shipping lanes on the last trip:

    Must be a world wide epidemic, we have all had it here too over Christmas and new year. Horrible! although we`ve not had to take to our beds so I guess its just a heavy cold! yours sounds like a flu virus? get better soon!:o))
