Ground Wire

That’s all it was, just a silly little ground wire for the igniter thing. It had frayed down to just a thread, but with a new connection, Ta-Da! Heater is working and the salon is up to 56 degrees already this morning. (It was 52 when I turned the heater on a little while ago)

Thank you for all the concern out there ~ I appreciate that all of you are suffering along with me (though perhaps not on quite the same scale…) through these trials and tribulations! I’m feeling so perky about the whole heater thing that I think I’ll tackle a small tear in the settee. I’ll post pictures if I’m successful and I’ll pretend I never wrote this post if I’m not. Deal? OK.

Tell me again why you haven’t been staying with us while you sort it out! Thank goodness you have this blog so that I find out things like the fact that you’re having a boy and a girl! (probably!)Congrats on fixing the heater – you are truly a goddess!K

Thanks for your vist !I am so pleased that you got it working again! About the spanner thing, over here have metric to contend with as well as Af whitworth etc etc so its not unusual for me to climb down into the engine area and find that I have the wrong spanner (bother) and its fatal to try to use it “as its nearly the right size” as next time and more knuckles” no spanner will fit! so you are not alone and yes I have stripped many engines down! You have great cause to be proud of your achievement!Take care!
