Blue Angels 2010

Another successful weekend enjoying the Blue Angels out on the water! The weather was not particularly wonderful this year, but it meant the low show which Magic Brock prefers. More low passes, etc.

The ladies warmed their feet as needed in the hot tub.

Some of the guys warmed everything in the hot tub.

We nailed our position this year ~ final pass was directly over the boat & was spectacular.
Now it’s on to more wedding & “honeymoon” prep. Honeymoon is going to be a week up in Barkley Sound off the coast of Vancouver Island, fishing for halibut & salmon. We’ll have some friends with us, so it will be a lot of fun. We’re going to throw about a thousand gallons of diesel onboard this week, but we’re registered for the wedding at Morrison’s Fuel Dock in Lake Union. After all, we certainly don’t need “stuff.”

You have just reminded me that It`s the Eastbourne air show next weekend, where a squillion boats moor of the coast and watch the airshow all day and in the evening they make a mad dash for the Marina locks and spent until the early hours of the morning getting to their berths and drinking until sun up only to do exactly the opposite to get back out there for the final day of the show! so yes I will be avoiding it again this year :o((. The blue angels are great aren`t they ! not quite like the red arrows but pretty good all the same ;o))Tee hee!
