OK, so our new thing is to wave at the passenger train when it goes by, chanting “Amtrak Cascades – We Are The Scenery!” I guess I was just appreciating the fact that those people are probably sitting in their seats, gazing out the window and thinking, “It’s so pretty out here – look at that little marina.” And damn if I’m not lucky enough to get to live this every single day!

Actually, the Captain has a pretty cool little hip-hop-techno thing he does with the “We Are The Scenery” bit – I tried to talk him into letting me videotape it for you guys, but Noooooooo…apparently that will have to be a covert operation on my part. He’s so cute when he gets his boogie on.
