All’s Well

And a good time was had by all. Wedding went perfectly, Canada was awesome. We had a humpback come hang out with us for about 1/2 hour one afternoon as we were trolling for salmon. We cut the engines and just drifted – he stayed with us, seemingly interested in the boat? Who knows, but it was lovely.
Engines are running flawlessly again – more post later!

I have no doubt that Mum is way down below you feeding? what a great experience to be befriended by such a creature, they are so courious to the extent of getting themselves into trouble. I read of a whale experts trip with "customers where they swam with the mother and calf. the mother took the calf away after about a half hour (obviously fed up with the pestering) some three hundred yards from where the swimmers were. and so the whale expert gathered the clients up and dropped them along side again Doh! where upon the mother tail slapped and made a fuss to make her feeling understood (the expert stated that "she was probably in a bad mood"??????? wouldn`t he be if after a quiet walk in the park with his child, a dozen gross "Clients" started to bother him and his kids? Some expert eh?

Glad to hear that the engines are good! what a wonderful experience to have a whale along side, they are so big aren`t they! how we can terminate their lives for food I`ll never know, sure if we could farm them maybe, but no way, even Brock the carnivore will agree im sure that they are just too magnificent to kill. :o((
